In collaboration with Isobar, Bruut Amsterdam developed and produced the ‘Bottle tracker’: An online series in which presenter Gwen van Poorten explores the journey of a Coca-Cola bottle after it leaves the factory. That journey turns out to be more interesting than you might think: Did you know that 70% of these bottles already find their way back to Coca-Cola?
The series starts in the factory, after which we meet with partners such as Plastic Whale – which fishes bottles from the Amsterdam canals – and the Dutch Railways (NS). The series ends as soon as the recycling process is complete: The moment a bottle is ready for a second life.
The content series is part of the Coca-Cola summer campaign: ‘Let’s Not Waste Your Summer’. Through this campaign, Coca-Cola wants to make consumers aware and encourage them to contribute to the recycling of packaging.
