“Make the invisible visible. This Christmas commercial visualizes how the coronavirus is spreading unnoticed”

Christmas will be different this year: Unfortunately, there will be fewer people at the dinner table, keeping more distance than usual. But it’s necessary, as the coronavirus spreads quickly indoors – even though we cannot see the virus with the naked eye.

Bruut Amsterdam helped the Dutch government to make the invisible visible. In an informal way, the commercial visualizes how the coronavirus is spreading unnoticed and shows people that accidents will happen if we don’t keep our distance.

The production, directed by Jos van Meerveld is part of the close collaboration with creative agency Roorda. The commercial was set up at a rapid pace: We went from briefing to shoot in just two days.
